KAON stands for fire (ka ē«ļ¼and sound (on é³ļ¼and is a taiko group formed in 2019 out of the desire to find their own taiko sound. Over the years, the group has consisted of various players from Amsterdam, Utrecht, and The Hague, and is currently based at House of Circles in IJsselstein near Utrecht.

- Den Helder. In collaboration with Lanka Calligraphy. Performance at Hortus Overzee during their Japan Day.
- Rotterdam, Het Park. Performances at the Japan & Korean Food Festival.
2023
- Japan Light Festival Utrecht & Zaandam. Performance on the main stage.
- Elfia, Haarzuilens. A collaboration with Lanka Calligraphy at the Samurai Village.
- Tubbergen. A Wedding reception of an acquaintance.
- Zeist. An Odaiko performance at a friend's funeral service.
2022
- Elfia, Haarzuilens. In cooperation with Samurai Events. Performances throughout the day.
- Japan Festival Amstelveen. Performance on the main stage.
- Japan Light Festival Utrecht. Performance on the main stage.
